Why we built Easy Sign
We launched Easy Sign in 2025 with a simple observation: most e-signature tools are priced and designed for large enterprises, while the people who sign documents every day — insurance brokers, accountants, freelancers, and small business owners — get charged enterprise prices for what should be a simple workflow.
So we built the tool we wanted to use: upload a PDF, place your fields, send it, get it signed. No seat minimums, no sales calls, no lock-in.
What we believe
Your documents belong to you
Easy Sign is a signing and verification tool, not a long-term archive. We encourage every user to download completed documents and keep them in their own records. Retention periods for each plan are spelled out plainly in our Privacy Policy — no fine print.
Verification outlives storage
Most completed documents are fingerprinted with a SHA-256 hash when they are rendered. Anyone you share a signed PDF with can check it on our public verification page — a hash match confirms the file has not been altered since signing, even after the original has left our servers. Your locally stored copy stays provable, independent of us.
We only claim what we can back up
Our infrastructure providers — Supabase, Vercel, and AWS — hold SOC 2 attestations, and all documents are encrypted and stored in Canada. Easy Sign as an application has not yet undergone its own SOC 2 audit. We would rather tell you that plainly than imply otherwise.
Who we serve
Insurance brokers sending client paperwork. Accountants collecting engagement letters and tax forms. Freelancers and contractors closing agreements. Professionals whose business runs on signed documents — and who expect them done right.
