Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Easy Sign. By using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Easy Sign, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
- These terms apply to all users, including senders and recipients of documents.
- We may update these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.
- You must be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to enter into agreements.

Service Description
Easy Sign provides an electronic signature platform, with a free plan and a paid Pro plan, that enables users to send, sign, and manage documents digitally.
- The service is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the service will be error-free.
- Features may be added, modified, or removed at our discretion without prior notice.

User Responsibilities
You are responsible for your use of Easy Sign and the documents you create, send, or sign through our platform.
- You must provide accurate information and maintain the security of your account.
- You are responsible for ensuring that documents comply with applicable laws.
- You must not use the service for illegal purposes or to transmit harmful content.
- If you use public signing links, you are responsible for the content of your form and the information it collects, for obtaining a parent’s or guardian’s signature where a signer is a minor, for complying with the laws that apply to you (including rules on language and on sensitive information), and for responding to requests from people who signed your forms.
- For public signing links, Easy Sign provides the signing tool and processes signer information on your behalf, except for the records we keep for security, abuse prevention and document verification described in our Privacy Policy.
- To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Easy Sign and hold it harmless from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your documents or forms, the information you collect through the service, or your breach of these terms or of applicable law, except to the extent caused by our own breach.
- You must download and retain copies of important documents before the applicable retention period expires (30 days after creation for free accounts; 7 days for guest use; see our Privacy Policy for Pro and former-Pro accounts).

Electronic Signatures
Easy Sign facilitates electronic signatures but does not provide legal advice or guarantee the enforceability of any signed document.
- In Canada, electronic signatures may have legal effect under provincial e-commerce legislation (such as the Ontario Electronic Commerce Act, 2000 and the British Columbia Electronic Transactions Act) and, in federal contexts, PIPEDA Part 2.
- Electronic signatures may also have legal effect under foreign laws such as ESIGN and UETA (United States) and eIDAS (European Union).
- Certain documents — such as wills and powers of attorney — are excluded from electronic signature legislation in most Canadian provinces.
- You are responsible for determining whether electronic signatures are appropriate for your use case.
- We do not verify the identity of signers beyond the authentication methods you configure.
- The legal validity of signatures depends on applicable jurisdiction and document type.

Intellectual Property
Easy Sign and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
- You retain ownership of documents you upload to the service.
- You grant us a limited license to process your documents for service operation.
- We do not claim ownership of your content or use it for purposes beyond service delivery.
- Our trademarks and branding may not be used without written permission.

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Easy Sign shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
- We are not liable for any loss of data, documents, or business opportunities.
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service (if any).
- We do not guarantee recovery of deleted or expired documents.
- You use the service at your own risk and are responsible for maintaining backups.

Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Easy Sign at any time, with or without cause.
- Accounts may be terminated for violation of these terms or misuse of the service.
- Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases immediately.
- We are not obligated to retain or provide copies of your data after termination.
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
- Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
- You waive any objection to jurisdiction or venue in these courts.
- If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining terms remain in effect.

Paid Plans and Billing
Easy Sign offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. Current prices, in Canadian dollars, and the limits of each plan are listed on our Pricing page.
- Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly, according to the billing cycle you choose at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, and the payment method on file is charged, until you cancel.
- Eligible accounts can start one free trial of Pro; its length is shown on our Pricing page and at checkout. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription converts to a paid subscription and is charged automatically.
- You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing, which opens Stripe's customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period (or trial), and Pro features remain available until then.
- When a Pro subscription ends, the account returns to the Free plan and Free plan limits apply. How long documents from former Pro accounts are kept is described in our Privacy Policy.
