  • We may update these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.
  • You must be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to enter into agreements.

2. Service Description

Easy Sign provides a free electronic signature platform that enables users to send, sign, and manage documents digitally.

  • The service is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the service will be error-free.
  • Features may be added, modified, or removed at our discretion without prior notice.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for your use of Easy Sign and the documents you create, send, or sign through our platform.

  • You must provide accurate information and maintain the security of your account.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that documents comply with applicable laws.
  • You must not use the service for illegal purposes or to transmit harmful content.
  • You must download and retain copies of important documents before the 30-day retention period expires.

4. Electronic Signatures

Easy Sign facilitates electronic signatures but does not provide legal advice or guarantee the enforceability of any signed document.

  • Electronic signatures may have legal effect under laws such as ESIGN and UETA.
  • You are responsible for determining whether electronic signatures are appropriate for your use case.
  • We do not verify the identity of signers beyond the authentication methods you configure.
  • The legal validity of signatures depends on applicable jurisdiction and document type.

5. Intellectual Property

Easy Sign and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

  • You retain ownership of documents you upload to the service.
  • You grant us a limited license to process your documents for service operation.
  • We do not claim ownership of your content or use it for purposes beyond service delivery.
  • Our trademarks and branding may not be used without written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Easy Sign shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

  • We are not liable for any loss of data, documents, or business opportunities.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service (if any).
  • We do not guarantee recovery of deleted or expired documents.
  • You use the service at your own risk and are responsible for maintaining backups.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Easy Sign at any time, with or without cause.

  • Accounts may be terminated for violation of these terms or misuse of the service.
  • Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases immediately.
  • We are not obligated to retain or provide copies of your data after termination.
  • Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

  • Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
  • You waive any objection to jurisdiction or venue in these courts.
  • If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining terms remain in effect.
